Southern.IML Pathology performs COVID-19 RT-PCR and IgM antibody screening for all travellers at select COVID-19 travel testing collection centres in Wollongong, Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Eurobodalla regions.
It is essential that you check with your destination, transit country and airline for travel requirements and recommended timeframe in which you need to demonstrate a negative COVID-19 PCR test.

Do I need a COVID-19 test before arriving to NSW?
Those travelling to NSW will be required to have a COVID-19 test after they arrive.* We recommend checking with your airline prior to entry, as some airlines require a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours before boarding.

What areas are considered the south coast regions of NSW?
Southern.IML Pathology services along the south coast of NSW, this includes the areas from Engadine to Wollongong, Shellharbour, Nowra, Batemans Bay and Narooma.
When attending a collection location for your travel test, please ensure you select the correct pathology practice that covers your local area.

If you order your test through Southern.IML Pathology, you must have your sample(s) collected at one of our collection centres in Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Eurobodalla regions.
