Sarbar Napaki graduated from the university of Salahaddin in Northern Iraq in 1990. Sarbar worked as a resident on medical and surgical wards and as a first year registrar in the Emergency Department for 2 and half years at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Sarbar first joined Pathology training at the Royal Hobart Hospital in 1997 and was Pathology registrar at Geelong Hospital for 2 years. He then moved to work at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute in Melbourne for 1 year and in 2003 finished his training at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide.
Sarbar then relocated to Wollongong with his wife and four children. His special interests are Histopathology and Cytology, within which he hopes to develop as an area of expertise at Southern.IML Pathology.
