Southern IML Pathology and Lifeline Community Partnership

Southern.IML Pathology is proud of its past and present commitment to providing community support and corporate responsibility within the Illawarra and South Coast regions. We have given our support to both the medical fraternity and community services.

Southern.IML Pathology and Lifeline South Coast have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which draws on a list of intentions to strengthen each other's ability to support the community. Southern.IML Pathology sees this partnership as a natural extension of its long history of community support. The community partnership concept is very exciting and something in which all our staff can participate.
Southern.IML Pathology recognises its place as a large community healthcare provider on the South Coast of NSW and, as such, sees it as important to assist a community service like Lifeline and extend our hand of community care. The practice, through its business and management experience can contribute in many ways to an organisation such as Lifeline. Although we have made a cash donation to Lifeline it is our established network of providing a pathology service which is of greater benefit to Lifeline South Coast General practice is a key point of community care and through our involvement with general practice we hope to improve Lifeline's ability to support the community.

The key points in the partnership agreement include:
